RE: COURSES

I just started the Nursing Concepts 1 course and plan to take the exam on June 30th. I'm hoping that the questions that are on the assignments are somewhat the same as on the tests. What do you think of this program so far? I just had to try it because it just sounds too easy, but I know it's not. I found my books cheaper on Booksamillion.com ... you should check it out!

RE: COURSES

I've taken and passed Sociology. I did it in about 3 weeks - of course, I did nothing else. I studied about 5 hours every day for 3 weeks. All I did was answer the assignment questions. I did not study the sample exams. The questions on the CLEP test were covered in the assignments. I was very pleased.

RE: COURSES

I just finished the accounting CLEP, and though I feel I did very well, thought I was not completely happy witn this website, and relied more heavily on the book's supplemental website and quizzes. I've found many bugs to both the sample exams not working, and now the assignments for management are completely off (page, content, everything).

I'm planning on taking microeco next month, and would love a study partner. Please feel free to email me at dmoorethomas@hotmail.com if you're interested, and best of luck on your sociology exam :-).

RE: COURSES

Natural Science CLEP was unreal. The first section was fair, mostly being microbiology, the 2nd half chemistry big time. I got frustrated and guessed and passed. I haven't tried that approach with Regents Tests.

CLEP courses

I am 22 credits short of my BSC Degree and thought I'd CLEP all 22. I took my first one - American Government and went from a Straight A student to a Straight F in this exam. The test was totally different to the 4 sample exams I had studied.

Before I take my next CLEP, I'd like some feedback from anyone out there who've taken the following exams:

Sociology
American History
Natural Sciences
College Algebra
Humanities

Also, what text books did you use to study for the exams. Appreciate your quick response.

Thanks very much.

RE: COURSES

I just started the Nursing Concepts 1 course. Could you tell me how to study for the exam? What materials covers the exam the best? Any pointers? Thank you, Rebecca

RE: COURSES

Did you feel the the course study material was a good preparation for the actual exam, or was it your prior psych experience that made it easier for you. Please respond. I am considering purchasing the course material now as opposed to classroom instruction. Thanks! (donamare@bellsouth.net)

RE: COURSES

I read your mail. Did you pass your exam(s). I have a 15 year old daughter and we're thinking about some CLEP tests. We have homeschooled since Kinder. Tired... and don't want to go grades 9-12 when we can do same thing with CLEP exams. How difficult are the guides and tests?

Sincerely,
JuneWarta
