New to the program!

I have just joined as of today. I'm anxious to begin, but want to make sure I do it correctly. I joined the smartclub($499 for 12 courses) and I didn't know what subject to start off with first. I will be working online, which I have no clue of how it works. I just want to do the right thing and hope that this program works. I have been a pediatric nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas for 4 years. My time is very limited so therefore I hope this works out. I would appreciate if someone would reply.
Thanks

RE: New to the program!

I am sort of new to the program too. My husband got me started and he talked to Gary Minnis. He recommended i take the Sociology and Psychology first. This man seems to be really nice and i am sure he would help ya out with any questions you need answered. Just call the 1-800 number and ask for him they will direct you to him. Hope i was of some help.

Well I have decided to purchase the books from the program abecause I priced Barnes & Noble book prices and they are higher. My problem really is not knowing what course to start yet. I guess it rally doesn't matter, but I thank you for replying. Good Luck and hope to hear from you on how things are going.
Thanks

Anitra, Usually they do a profile for you and tell you where to start. Some classes you have to be enrolled with excelsior college also, such as Diff. C. You only have till Sept. for this class and then it will switch. Look up Excelsior College online and it will show you what classes are required to graduate. Becky

RE: New to the program!

Hi Rebecca,
Well I decided to go ahead a start Life Span and It's real deep. I have Evelyn Hunt and she's helpful. She really thinks that you should start with Life Span. I know that before you can enroll into Excelsior you had to have Nursing Concept 1 and 2. I'm just a little scared and really taking it day by day. I hope to be finish with this program by January.

Thanks
