RE: Paramedics taking the Regents course

Another medic here - from Wisconsin. I just stumbled onto this site and am really looking into it as there is about a 2 year waiting list to get into a nursing program through the tech. schools here. Any idea where I would find out if I would get any credit in this program for the EMT-P license/course? Thanks!

As long as you are an EMT, you can enroll in the Excelsior College nursing program(in Wisconsin). The only courses that would transfer would be general education courses taken at an accredited college. If you have previous credits you can get an unofficial evaluation from istudysmart.

RE: Paramedics taking the Regents course

Just wanted to give you guys a tip that are taking Life Span Psychology. If you are like me I know you need to save all the money you can. Excelsior (regents) college accepts the DANTES Psychology test for the nursing requirement and the DANTES test is only $40 bucks where the Excelsior test is $$$$$. So consider that if you need to save a few.
