LPN to ADN

Hi,

I've been an LPN for 6 years and have been working as a traveling nurse for 2 1/2 years. I really want to get my RN but don't want to stop traveling to go back to school. I was wondering if anyone has been doing this program for long (or even knows someone who's finished it and taken boards). I would just like a little more information before I put out the money.

Thanks for your help!

Tina

RE: LPN to ADN

hi..i've been an lvn for almost 12 years and this is definately the way to go. although the nursing concepts modules have A LOT of questions, they're very in depth and cover everything you'll need for state boards. i would also recommend a mosby's study guide for the nclex. i have 5 children and this has been the perfect opportunity to get my rn without having to leave home. in fact, i usually do my assignments between patients at work!
