I"m not sure if I can do this. How much time will this take from my schedule? I'm working full time and I have a life. I really want to take a class to get ahead at work.

RE: Hello!!

I'm pretty sure I can sacrifice a couple of movies. I already sacrifice sleep! I don't have any children, so if you were able to do it, I'm sure I can too. Thanks for the encouragement!! My company just wants me to take a refresher in accounting. They don't even care if I take the exam that goes along with it.

RE: Hello!!

NO kidding. I'm trying to get my bachelors through Thomas Edision State College because it allows me to use distance learning (study at home concept), but I'm not sure going to the classroom wouldn't be better. I have no life now, I study and do assigments from 8:00 am to about 9:00 pm. I signed up as a full time student with the college, and geez they weren't kidding - it's more than full time. I'm hoping these study course will shave off some study time because they dont require assigment be turned in to a professor like the college does. Then I can transfer the credit to the college w/o so much homework. Good luck!

RE: Hello!!

Where do you get information on distance learning? I have a full time (60 hours a week) job and a husband to take care of so going to class is out.

RE: Hello!!

Hi lydie,

I'm finishing my bachelor's degree online through the Regents Online Degree Program through Tennessee Technological University (www.tntech.edu). I love my online classes. I have a full time job, a husband, and three children involved in band/sports so I don't have time to attend on campus classes either. I don't know where you live, but you don't have to be a Tennessee resident to enroll in the program. It may be worth checking into.

Hope this info helps.
