ENG COMP Essay

It is my understanding you have three months to finish the course, so what happens if you don't feel ready to take the test? It being an off-line course does it matter? It looks obvious to me, however, just checking for possible problems. (for me!)
Thanks,

RE: ENG COMP Essay

I didnt pay for the on line course through I studysmart. I contacted my local community college, purchased the English Comp Study Guide that I just started to study from Amazon.com. Cost approx 18.00 for the book.
Less expensive.... After studing the guide, and taking the practice test I will take the clep test for 46.00 and a 12.00 college fee.
College informed me if you pass the test you get credit for eng comp 1 & 2.
Worth a try to me. I am certainly not a young woman with a alot time drag this out...
If I dont pass then I guess I will need to take the course.
Good luck

RE: ENG COMP Essay

Cygran,

I am also taking courses for the Nursing program. I have been an LPN for 12 yrs.
Eng comp 1 and 2 is required for Nursing.
Read my prior message. I ordered the study guide for english comp. If I pass I get credit for both through clep.

RE: ENG COMP Essay

Hi, this is Emily. I monitor the forums. You have all the time you need to prepare for the examination. The 90 day limit is just for the money-back guarantee. We have to put some sort of limit so that people don't prepare for years, then go take the test using out-dated materials. Please call a consultant here if you have any questions...the number is 800-737-2222.Thanks.
