  • "We've attended this conference for several years, and I really enjoy meeting the Testing Administrators from colleges across the United States." said Ms. Clements. "Testing Centers play a major role in helping students get information about credit by examination. It's amazing how many students are unaware of their options for accelerating their degree completion."

At the 2003 conference, in Phoenix, AZ, Ms. Clements and Colleen McKendry from Capstar were part of a seminar panel on DSST exams and other credit by examination options. With the growth of distance learning programs, the demographic of students has changed dramatically. Working adults stand to benefit the most when confronted with alternative, flexible choices for earning credit toward a degree.

This year's NCTA conference was held in Portland, OR. (August/2005)
