History of the United States 1: Early Colonizations to 1877 covers material usually taught in a one-semester undergraduate introductory history course.
The CLEP exam is 90 minutes long and consists of 120 multiple-choice questions.
The exam will require you to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Identification and description of historical phenomena
- Analysis and interpretation of historical phenomena
- Comparison and contrast of historical phenomena

- Social developments
- Economic developments
- Cultural and intellectual relations
