Technical Writing

Technical Writing measures knowledge and understanding of writing technical documents. The exam will require you to demonstrate the following technical writing competencies:
  • Knowledge of basic facts and terms
  • Understanding of concepts and principles
  • Ability to apply knowledge to specific problems and situations

There is also an optional essay section, which some colleges and universities may require. You should check with the college or university where you plan to transfer these credits to determine if this essay portion is required.
